May 16, 2012, 6 in 10 children under 12 have diabetes in Fukushima

Dr. Miura, the director of Iwase general hospital conducted health checkup for people in temporary dwellings in Sukagawa city Fukushima. The result showed 6 in 10 children under 12 years old have diabetes.

Dr. Miura states this is abnormal situation, but is guessing it’s because of the lack of exercise or stress.

Strontium90 (half life time 28.79 y) has beta decay to become yttrium90 (half life time 64 h). Strontium90 and yttrium90 come to have radiative equilibrium within a month and strontium90 : yttrium90 becomes 3900 : 1 stably. Yttrium90 is stocked in pancreas to cause pancreatic cancer or diabetes.

(Cesium attacks the blood, lungs and heart. If Chernobyl delivered any medical lessons, cesium kills within months and years due to heart failures, long before the human body can develop cancers. - Paul Currier)

Dr. Miura is concerned about the mental problem of children in Fukushima, but the hospital is recruiting doctors and medical staff. The slogan is “To let citizens live longest in Japan.” Clearly, Dr. Miura has not learned the lessons of Chernobyl the full scope of radiation diseases.

Whoever put this photo-statement together forgot that Obama also appointed Lead BP people to run the Department of Energy, and these were the very same Government Liaisons’ who worked with BP on the Gulf of Mexico Deepwater Macando Blowout. And let’s not forget that $54 billion for Nuclear Power and the Obama Administration contract with TEPCO to build at least two new Nuclear Power Plants in Texas. TEPCO is who is responsible for the Fukushima disaster. Yup! That would be President Obama. And his failure to bail out homeowners rather than banks? What about that? And that $1 trillion in Student Debt, because he feels war is more important to his Wall Street Puppet Masters than free public education as a right. I am sure FDR is puking in his grave.

One of the largest recent environmental disasters is the explosion of Chevron’s Deep Water Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico. The disaster caused environmental harm as well as harm to coastal industries. Even though the oil industry promised it knew what to do in-case of a disaster, they did not. There was no investment made by oil companies in research and technology to deal with the spill even though oil spills have been a common occurrence. Due to this lack of investment, old techniques such as using toxic chemicals was used causing more harm as the oil reached the shore.
